Easter 2013 was a cheerful dry day! We all had a lovely time playing 'find the Easter Egg!' there was lots to find and for the few lucky ones there was the excitement of finding a Goldern Egg! Despite the forecast weather Monkton Wyld Caravanning & Camping Park in Dorset, hosted their Street Party to Celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. A wonderful time was had by all. It was a wonderful day and £145.00 was raised for Julia's House. Julia's House is the only Children's Hospice in Dorset. We want to thank you all for coming and making it a wonderful day. Well done to Jayne who organised the event. For the wonderful Mr Bob Wine who judged the event and for Craig, Jess and Pixie from River Cottage coming along to support us too. For Libby and Wendy from Julia's House that was on hand to help. Most of all to you all for coming, taking part, making the day it was and helping to raise that money for the wonderful Children at Julia's House |

For the second year in a row, Joanna and Simon Kewley (owners of the Monkton Wyld Holiday Park, Charmouth). Hosted with their fun-loving team the 2012 Easter Egg Hunt for over 100 children and parents. Although the weather was rather damp and overcast, it did not dampen spirits! Monkton Wyld have hosted a number of free events for their holiday park guests and it was enjoyed by all. In fact the egg and spoon race for the parents proved highly competitive! |

Some holiday park guests have been coming to Monkton Wyld for 20 years. One guest said "There is always a happy smile to greet us and the whole holiday park offers us space, quiet and a place to relax" ... |
