Monkton Wyld Safari Tent
New for the 2010 season we are pleased to offer a large and luxurious Safari Tent. Based on the design of tents used on the great African Safari's, you will find yourself camping in a grand style.
Our Safari Tent provides a large living area, with timber floor and two separate bed areas, one with a comfortable double bed, the other with twin beds which can be converted to bunks if required, providing sleeping for up six people.
Our Safari Tent has been specially commissioned for Monkton Wyld to provide you with the utmost in luxurious camping. This handbuilt tent, made by British craftsmen, is constructed of heavy duty canvas over a timber frame with a large fly sheet which extends over the front, providing shelter for an outside sitting area. The front of the tent is secured by heavy duty chunky zips which can be adjusted to either provide a simple door opening or opened completely to let the outside in! In the hot days of summer the Safari Tent, with it's double fly sheet remains cool, whilst on chilly Autumn evenings a log burning stove helps keep you warm.
The Safari Tent is well equipped for a comfortable holiday.
9.5 metres x 7 metres in size.
A well equipped kitchen area including cooking and eating utensils with electric hob, small oven, microwave, fridge, dining table and chairs.
The living area includes comfortable seating, coffee table, television and a wood burning stove.
Two separate bed areas, one double and two single beds/bunks. Sleeps maximum of six.
