Welcome to our Holiday Park
Monkton Wyld Holiday Park offers idyllic Camping and Caravanning in West Dorset. We are three miles from the coastal village of Charmouth and the historic harbour town of Lyme Regis, the centre of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.
The holiday park has 25 acres of beautifully landscaped and carefully maintained grounds within West Dorset’s ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. The park has been carefully planted with native woodland to divide the grounds into several separate small paddocks which provide an atmosphere of peace and quiet.
We love to see your pets! We understand their importance to you and your family. With two large dog walking areas, there is lots of room for exercise.
Food Vans: We currently have three different food vans visiting weekly. Fish and Chips, Wood-fired pizzas and a Pie and Burger Van.

Monkton Wyld Wins South West Gold
We are proud to have achieved Gold in South West England Tourism Excellence Awards for Best Camping and Caravanning Park.
Thank you to all those that make Monkton Wyld Holiday Park one of the very best places to stay and enjoy all that West Dorset and East Devon have to offer.
Chris Loder MP Visits
We were thrilled to welcome Chris Loder our Dorset MP to Monkton Wyld Holiday Park. We have almost finished the video of his visit, where we show Chris around the park. He happens to bump into our Dinosaur, we think T-Rex took to Chris instantly. After Chris left, our Rexy said “he smelled rather nice” !!
Our Shower & Wash facility wins Top Award
We are extremely proud that the new shower facilities won the top award in the Loo of the Year competition. Come and have a look around.
The heated shower block has individual cubicle washbasins, dedicated family and disability rooms and huge showers with lashings of hot water. The new shower block also incorporates a large laundry with dryers and a separate dishwashing area.
All unit pitches suitable for Tents, Caravans & Motorhomes
Have you ever considered an all unit pitch, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes? The pitches have been especially designed to provide a safe haven for tents in all weathers.
What is the surface made of ? The surface consists of a small, soft, flat cotswold stone which will not damage groundsheets and eliminates the problem of the soggy grass pitch when the previous tent moves on.
Can I peg the tent down easily ? There is a free draining chalk base which allows for easy pegging, although it is wise to use metal pegs rather than the plastic type.
Talk to our helpful reception staff when you phone to book and they will be pleased to answer any further questions.
