Our 17th century farmhouse is a lovely old building, full of nooks and crannies and quirky features providing plenty of old-world character. It has recently been completely refurbished and stylishly decorated, making it the perfect place for a luxury family holiday.

The farmhouse accommodation provides for up to 9 people. There is a master bedroom with a super king size bed and an ensuite bathroom; a double room with a king size bed plus a 3ft single bed; a twin room with two 3ft beds; and there is a family bathroom with a large bath. On the ground floor, there is a further twin room with two 3ft beds and a shower room.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes everything required for making either a light salad or a full Christmas dinner. The dining room has a large table with seating for 10 and includes a wood-burning stove.  The sitting room also has a wood-burning stove, with comfortable sofas and a large TV.  French doors open from the sitting room onto the south-facing terrace and the front garden which overlooks the woods.

There is garden furniture, a bbq and a children’s climbing frame.  The farmhouse is surrounded by lawns and woods so there is plenty of space for all.

Wifi is provided and the farmhouse is fully centrally heated.  Monkton Wyld Farmhouse provides a lovely summer holiday location or a cosy winter retreat.  There is a large supply of wood available for the stoves.
