Prestigious David Bellamy Gold Award 

For ten consecutive years we were awarded the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Award.  This recognised the outstanding contribution made by Monkton Wyld Holiday Park to wildlife and the local environment within the park.  Visitors come back year after year to see our wildflower and orchid meadows.

Perhaps the reason for achieving Gold can best be summed up by comments made to the Bellamy team by our visitors. Here are just a few of them:

“We have been on 637 caravan sites in 31 years and this one is up there with the best of them. Beautiful wild flowers, birds, etc.”

“Abundance of flowers and shrubs. Plenty of space between outfits – whole site clean and tidy.”
