Coronavirus Information – Site  Closed

Coronavirus (Covid – 19).

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak our park is now closed until further notice.

Update  31/03/20

Arrangement for current holiday bookings.

From the 1st April 2020 we will begin contacting all customers who have holidays booked with us for dates between the 23rd March 2020 and the 30th April 2020 to arrange to either postpone, rearrange, or cancel the booking.  We  be contacting customers  by telephone in date order of which their holidays were due to commence.  Please bear with us during this time but be assured that we are working hard behind the scenes to contact everyone who has a booking with, us to discuss alternative arrangements. We will be following the same procedure for May and commencing this process in the last week of April, if by then we are still being instructed by the government to remain closed.  This procedure will them continue on a month by month basis as  events unfold.

Update 23rd March 2020

From midday on the 23rd March 2020, Monkton Wyld Holiday Park will close until further notice.

It is with great sadness that this action has been taken as we had been looking forward to welcoming our guests to this beautiful part of England. However, the government is adamant that we should all reduce unnecessary travel to restrict transmission of the virus and we are pleased to be playing our part in this national effort.

We will continue to manage the park with a skeleton staff who will ensure the park is maintained to its normal high standard. Our office will continue to be manned, although on much reduced hours.  We will continue to respond in a timely manner to email enquiries and messages left on our answerphones.

If you have an existing booking, please DO NOT at this stage contact our reception as we will not have the staff available to answer all your questions.  You will receive information in due course regarding your booking and we hope that you will be able to transfer it to another date of your choosing.

The closure is temporary, and we will be back as a flourishing destination, ready to welcome our visitors as soon as we possibly can.

In the mean time, we would like to thank all our visitors over the years who have enjoyed visiting this little corner of Dorset, we have enjoyed welcoming you here and look forward to seeing you  again soon.

With our very best wishes, from

Simon and Joanna Kewley and all our fabulous Monkton Wyld Team
