On arrival, please remain in your car and a member of staff will greet you, take you to your pitch, provide information regarding facilities and your stay on the park.

We request that only ONE car is brought to the site. If a second car is essential, please park as directed by staff.
Gazebos and day visitors will not be allowed until further notice.
Be respectful of other guests and do not encroach on adjoining pitches, even if they are occupied by friends staying on the park. We ask you to adhere to the 2 metre rule.
To help with site management, pitches will be pre-allocated. For any specific requests, e.g. to be near the disabled facilities, please advise reception staff at the time of booking and we will do our best to help although because of the many constraints we are operating under, we cannot, and never will guarantee specific pitches. Please understand that we may not be able to pitch you together with another party.
It is essential that guest remain socially responsible and follow all measures which will ensure that everyone enjoys a safe, secure and enjoyable holiday.
Our pitches are at least 6 m apart and within the park, many pitches are set in small separate paddocks . This will make it easier to observe social distancing measures and to observe Stay Alert advice whilst enjoying the surrounding countryside. There is plenty of room for everyone on the park if social distancing is observed.
The shower blocks will be subjected to increased cleaning and sanitisation measure. Please be patient if cleaning takes longer than usual. Cleaning times will be posted for your advice. Hand and hair dryers in shower blocks will switched off and it is suggested you bring your own individual hand towels.
Please bring your own sanitiser, face masks, gloves or any PPE equipment you think you might require, we will not be able to supply these items.
The play equipment will be closed until further notice.
Our staff will now be working as two separate teams until circumstances change. Because of this, the reception will be operating on reduced hours and on a contactless basis.
There is free, high speed wifi throughout the park so you should be able to access all relevant tourist information to help enjoy your visit to West Dorset.
Check your health for symptoms of Covid 19 before leaving home.

Update 23rd March 2020
From midday on the 23rd March 2020, Monkton Wyld Holiday Park will close until further notice.
It is with great sadness that this action has been taken as we had been looking forward to welcoming our guests to this beautiful part of England. However, the government is adamant that we should all reduce unnecessary travel to restrict transmission of the virus and we are pleased to be playing our part in this national effort.
We will continue to manage the park with a skeleton staff who will ensure the park is maintained to its normal high standard. Our office will continue to be manned, although on much reduced hours. We will continue to respond in a timely manner to email enquiries and messages left on our answerphones.
If you have an existing booking, please DO NOT at this stage contact our reception as we will not have the staff available to answer all your questions. You will receive information in due course regarding your booking and we hope that you will be able to transfer it to another date of your choosing.
The closure is temporary, and we will be back as a flourishing destination, ready to welcome our visitors as soon as we possibly can.
In the mean time, we would like to thank all our visitors over the years who have enjoyed visiting this little corner of Dorset, we have enjoyed welcoming you here and look forward to seeing you again soon.
With our very best wishes, from
Simon and Joanna Kewley and all our fabulous Monkton Wyld Team
